Your data,
with a clear purpose.
How this website handles information submitted through its forms.
What the forms collect
The Field Notes form stores the email address you submit and the signup time. The contact form stores your name, email address, message, and submission time. Do not include sensitive personal or payment information.
Why information is stored
Signup information records your interest in Field Notes. Contact information lets the site owner review your inquiry. Joining the interest list does not currently trigger an email or enroll you in an active email campaign.
Storage and third-party requests
Form submissions are stored in the website’s hosted database. Site hosting providers process requests needed to deliver the site. Fonts are served with the website. This edition does not include advertising pixels or an analytics service.
Your choices
You can browse the guides and use calculators without submitting a form. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not submitted to the database. To request deletion of information you submitted, use the contact form and identify the email address involved.
